2009
"57" x Medicine Man
Jack Hammer
Due to the extreme heat and drought conditions in Oklahoma this past summer, we are only offering two bred ewes in the sale. As many know and experienced themselves, we were forced to sell 25 ewes this summer. Because our numbers have already been decreased, this will be a rare opportunity to purchases a bred ewe from our flock. The first ewe we are selling is a big racked, big, level hipped, good ri bbed female. She is big boned and shaggy legged. Her ewe lamb from last year's lamb crop was sold for $1000 in the online Red Dirt Classic Sale. She is bred to Jack Hammer. HIs first lamb crop has produced many champions, including premium sale sheep at the Tulsa State Fair. This should be an intriguing and productive breeding combination. |

2006
Trademark x Patent
Bred to RimShot - Trunk Son
Due to the extreme heat and drought conditions in Oklahoma this past summer, we are only offering two bred ewes in the sale. As many know and experienced themselves, we were forced to sell 25 ewes this summer. Because our numbers have already been decreased, this will be a rare opportunity to purchases a bred ewe from our flock. Our last lot is a partnership ewe that Langemeir and I decided to offer for this sale. This is a stud ewe we purchased from Clay Elliot. She is a Trademark/Patent bringing back some of the old genetics which are so sought after today. She is bred to RimShot, one of our Trunk buck lambs. He is extremely modern, with base-width far beyond the norm. This should prove to be an excited combination with stud-buck potential. |

Buck QRNN
"57" x "57" Daughter
We are starting off our lots with this impressive buck that we call Tobasco. Tobasco is a double bred "57". We have bred him two consecutive years including this year, and we have retained numerous ewe lambs in our flock from both breeding seasons. He has sired numerous county champions across both Oklahoma and Texas. He has a tremendous rack, a massive dead-level hip, and is wide-based. He is extremely big footed and shaggy legged, which is a trait he consistently passes to his offspring. His front 1/3 is also exceptional . This buck has many impressive traits which would prove beneficial to anyone's flock. |

Our flock began with two of Ashley and Kynsey’s show ewes in 1996. We continued to build with additional show ewes and natural progression. In 2005 we purchased a buck lamb from Vince McGolden. Unfortunately he wasn’t fertile. Vince sent the immortal CONSPIRACY for us to use. You probably know that the majority of the Mc Golden flock traces back to this tremendous female maker. We retained 22 of his daughters. The following summer Chad Charmasson located a LSU son at Jim Johnson (Team Johnson Club Lambs) that he thought would be a very interesting piece for us. That buck, CAPTAIN JACK, was the key to our flock “turning the corner”. Some of his accomplishments in his first lamb crop include, two sale lambs at the Tulsa State Fair, class winner and sale lamb at the American Royal, Reserve Blackface and sale lamb at the Arizona National, Reserve Division Champion at the National Western, sale lamb qualifier at OYE, sale lamb at Houston, as well as several Champions and Reserves at counties in Oklahoma and Texas. We kept 26 ewe lambs that season out of Captain Jack.
Not realizing we would never get to breed another ewe to Captain Jack we did not keep a buck lamb sired by him. One of our most difficult decisions came that summer; we were offered another LSU son from Team Johnson, which meant we needed to move Captain Jack. We sold him to Tom Moser in Iowa but kept a breeding interest. Captain Jack died that summer in Iowa before breeding season began. After his sale we purchased Team Johnson 1111, we call him BLACKBEARD. Blackbeard has proudly carried on his father’s legacy. He has sired over 20 county champions, sale lambs at Tulsa and OYE, high class placings at NAILE. Champions in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma are on his resume. We have retained 58 Blackbeard daughters.
In addition to the Blackbeard daughters, we kept our favorite buck lamb in 2008. We call him SNAKE DOCTOR.
In the spring of 2009, Blackbeard had some urinary tract problems, we were able to save him but he has been out of commission since, and was unable to breed any ewes this fall.
Due to Blackboards’ problems we kept two buck lambs from his 2009 crop, WITCH DOCTOR and WILD CARD.. Witch Doctor is Snake Doctors full brother, their mother is out of a buck we raised and called WHAT'S HIS NAME, she is full of power and a bonafide stud ewe. Wild Card is out of a Tom Moser ewe we purchased as a show ewe in 2003. Wild Cards full sister was shown by Shelby in 2008/2009 and was grand or reserve 4 times and never beat in class.
For and outcross buck, we purchased a double bred 57 son from Kent Langemeir this spring, we call him TOBASCO TOBASCO.
As you can see we have built a flock that is genetically similar with just the right amount of line breeding and outcrosses. With over 80 ewes that are all out of the two LSU sons, the consistency that is in our flock is awesome. Our lambs have proven themselves to be easy feeders that are loaded with muscle and look. |
